The YSI PurCon® is a sample filtration unit for IQ SensorNet process analyzers, such as the Alyza NH4 and Alyza PO4. The PurCon delivers high-quality wastewater samples with reduced maintenance and is an alternative filter choice to the standard YSI FM/PC filter.
The PurCon is ideal for high solids applications, sample locations that exceed a distance of 20 meters (65.6 ft) from the analyzer, and sample sites where the FM/PC cannot be deployed. The filtration unit features automatic self-cleaning, minimal maintenance, and a 2-year warranty.
- Overview
The PurCon utilizes four 0.45 μm filter membranes to remove solids from the sample before analysis in an Alyza IQ. The filtration unit continuously delivers a high-quality sample to a process analyzer from a sample site up to 30 meters (98.4 feet) away.
- Low Maintenance - Equipped with automatic BubbleClean® self-cleaning technology that drastically reduces filter maintenance time to only 20 minutes per month.
- High-Quality Sample - The PurCon’s four alternating 0.45 μm filters ensure a clean, reliable sample. Two of four filters prepare the process sample for the analyzer as the other two self-clean.
- Adjustable Settings - A four-speed sample flow switch allows precise operator control of the permeate flow.
- YSI IQ SensorNet Compatible - Designed for use with YSI process analyzers, including the Alyza IQ platform.
