How to Get Optimal Data with Online Water Instrumentation

best practices for online sensor maintenance

Join YSI wastewater experts for part one of our new webinar series, How to Get Optimal Data with Online Instrumentation -
Best Practices for Sensor Maintenance
. In this four-part series, we’ll review best practices for maintaining online sensors and analyzers, managing data, and establishing a standard operating procedure for maintenance.

Not all data is created equal. Quality data is essential for optimized process control – proper maintenance of online instrumentation results in maximum sensor performance and, ultimately, better data to help you make informed decisions.

In part one, we’ll showcase live, hands-on demonstrations of maintenance procedures for YSI online sensors and share best practices for maintaining each sensor type. The webinar is interactive, so bring any questions and feel free to ask throughout!

You’ll learn the following:

  • Which wastewater components are known to skew online data and/or foul instrumentation
  • Best practices for maintaining sensors and how to get the best data
  • How to perform basic maintenance procedures for YSI IQ SensorNet FDO (dissolved oxygen), SensoLyt (pH/ORP), and VARiON ISE (ammonium/nitrate) sensors

Who should attend:

Water treatment engineers, operators, instrument technicians, and superintendents who want to learn more about online instrumentation and sensor applications.

Earn CEUs!

This live educational webinar will be 50 minutes with 10 minutes for Q&A. After the webinar, attendees are eligible to receive a certificate awarding 0.1 CEUs (1 PDH) from the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET). IACET CEUs are often transferable, so check with your local association to see if IACET credit is accepted.
