The ADP430 is one of two models in the ADP400 Series, the second being the ADP450 which is a Single wavelength polarimeter with XPC temperature control and low maintenance LED light source. Suitable for sugar, food, chemical, and pharmaceutical industries.

    The ADP400 Series are general-purpose single-wavelength polarimeters suitable for the sugar, food, chemical, and pharmaceutical industries. Capable of measuring up to 3.0 OD at 589nm over a maximum tube length of 200mm, the ADP450 offers three decimal place precision to an accuracy of ±0.01 °Angular making it ideal for general purpose use in food, flavors, fragrance, pharmaceutical, and chemical industries as well as within academia and research. 

    Low Cost of Ownership

    These polarimeters contain proven optics, pioneered by Bellingham + Stanley, featuring “no maintenance” yellow LED and interference filter. This allows for the reading of up to 3.0 OD samples at the commonly used sodium (589nm) wavelength.

    ADP400 polarimeters include angular and sugar scales (ISS) and can be programmed with user scales, industry-standard methods for displaying invert sugar, inversion (A-B), or when applying other factors such as tube length and concentration, Specific Rotation (or concentration when entering specific rotation). This flexibility makes the ADP430 the ideal polarimeter for use within laboratories where compliance with Pharmacopoeia is required.

    RFID Technology

    Calibration and configuration of the ADP430 are password-protected, accessible by keypad entry or for convenience, using a fully configurable RFID tag.  This, together with the audit trail, facilitates operation in environments conforming to FDA regulation 21 CFR Part 11 or GLP.
