The Pontoon Vertical Profiling System delivers reliable, fully automated data collection for water column insights.
Deployable in the waterbody, the Pontoon Vertical Profiler offers user-programmable sample intervals, redundant error recovery logic that recovers automatically, and wireless transmission options. The profiler is compatible with all YSI EXO and 6-Series sondes equipped with depth and comes with rugged, non-corrosive mechanical winch and drive mechanisms, Profile Wizard software for easy setup, configuration, and deployment, profile data analysis and export software. There is also an optional meteorological package for those needing other environmental data.
When paired with a fully-loaded EXO Sonde, the pontoon profiler can be programmed to move up and down the water column at regular intravals, collecting high-resolution data on water conditions across various parameters. Data can be transmitted via telemetry or a direct connection for visibility into changing water conditions. With timely insights, operators can respond quickly and optimize operations.
