eoapp AQUA is a web-based platform that allows users to generate, visualize, and analyze water quality data calculated from satellite remote optical sensors using physics-based algorithms.

  • Overview

eoapp AQUA allows you to unlock the full potential of water quality management with Satellite-based sensors that provide increased spatiotemporal data for monitoring surface water temperature, turbidity, harmful algal bloom (HAB) indicators, and more parameters. Combine this data with YSI's field instruments for a comprehensive solution for generating, visualizing, and analyzing water quality.

    • Monitor data derived from satellite-based sensors for parameters such as turbidity, sediment concentration, chlorophyll, surface water temperature, indicators of HABs, and more.
    • Detect trends, understand seasonal changes, and identify spatial patterns of large areas with intuitive map views.
    • eoapp AQUA provides access to historical data as far back as the early 1980s. This data can be used to compare with and validate existing data, as well as fill in data gaps.
    • Create custom alarms to stay informed of events or changes to the parameters and areas that matter to you. Receive early warning email notifications based on site-specific thresholds.
    • Combine spatial data with sensors in the water to make well-informed decisions.
    • Satellite data can help determine the most effective location for real-time sensors.
    • eoapp AQUA can be accessed from any web-enabled device, including computers, phones, and tablets.
