The MIQ/IC2 current input module provides two 0/4 - 20 mA current inputs for the IQ SensorNet system. This allows external sensors to be connected to an IQ SensorNet system via their current outputs. Measured values of the external sensors can be displayed, recorded, and processed just like the measured values from the IQ SensorNet system. The power consumption for the MIQ/IC2 module is 0.2 watts plus 2.2 watts per connected power supply/isolator.
Examples of third-party sensors that can be connected to IQ SensorNet:
- Flowmeters - MJK Magflux Electromagnetic Flowmeter
- Level meters - MJK Shuttle Ultrasonic Level Measurement and MJK Expert Hydrostatic Level Measurement
- Analyzers - 3017M DPD Chlorine Analyzer
This module is a part of the IQ SensorNet family of products and works directly with the advanced wastewater process monitoring and control platform the IQ SensorNet 2020 3G controller or the simplified IQ SensorNet 282/284 controller.
