ProSample Suction Hose

There are three suction hoses available from YSI for the ProSample. The 5 meter suction hose is included with every new ProSample (all models).

• Overview

  Each ProSample hose comes with the connectors needed to connect the suction hose to the ProSample, as well as a pre-installed sinker weight.

  Available suction hoses for the ProSample include:

  • 630132-05: 5 meter suction hose with screw connection and sinker weight
  • 630132-10: 10 meter suction hose with screw connection and sinker weight
  • 630132-20: 20 meter suction hose with screw connection and sinker weight

  A 5 meter suction hose is included with each ProSample P, ProSample P-12, ProSample PM, and ProSample PM-12.

  Up to a 30 meter suction hose can be used with any ProSample model. If not using a YSI suction hose (5, 10, and 20 meter available), ensure the suction hose being used has a ¾ inch-14BSPP connection. A ¾ inch-14BSPP female connection (630127) is available if the suction hose being used does not have a ¾ inch-14BSPP connection.

  There is a small gasket zip-tied to the suction hose upon delivery. Place this gasket in the suction hose connector before connecting the suction hose to the intermediate tube. This gasket prevents air from getting in the line, thus ensuring accurate dispensing of solution.
