The MJK 7030 Float Switch is designed for simple and reliable on/off level control. As the liquid level rises or falls, the float changes position and activates an internal hermetically sealed microswitch. A counterweight can be used to adjust the switching point and help ensure the float remains properly positioned.
Key Benefits
Rugged, long-life construction
Potted switching components, a strong multi-fiber flexible cable, and a polypropylene enclosure help the 7030 perform reliably where standard float switches may fail.
Mercury-free design
The 7030 uses environmentally friendly materials and does not contain mercury, making it well-suited for wastewater, treatment plant, and drinking water reservoir applications.
Flexible control options
The SPDT mechanical changeover switch allows normally open or normally closed operation depending on how the device is wired.
Reliable pump and alarm control
The 7030 can be used for pump start/stop control, dry-run protection, high-level alarms, and backup indication in automated systems
Typical applications include:
- Wastewater pumping stations
- Sewage treatment plants
- Drinking water reservoirs
- Pump start/stop control
- High- and low-level alarms
- Backup protection for automated control systems
