The Expert 3400 is built to keep working in real field conditions. The PPS (Ryton) housing and ceramic diaphragm are selected for environments with aggressive chemicals and fluids, and the transmitter is designed without sharp edges to help prevent rags, paper, and debris from sticking to the housing or membrane.
Key Benefits:
- High accuracy + long-term stability - Accuracy better than ±0.1% FS (50–85 °F) with long-term stability better than ±0.1% FS per year.
- Designed for aggressive media - PPS housing + ceramic diaphragm supports use around acids, bases, and ferric chloride applications (model/application dependent).
- Rag-resistant design - No sharp edges to help prevent debris buildup in wastewater environments.
Applications
Wastewater wet wells & lift stations
Rag-resistant housing design helps reduce debris buildup, supporting reliable level measurement in harsh, solids-laden environments.
Process water
Delivers stable level data for industrial processes where reliable 4–20 mA output supports plant control and trending.
Industrial / chemical tanks (application dependent)
Ceramic sensing and compatible materials support level monitoring in demanding industrial environments with aggressive fluids.
Challenging installations
Designed for tough sites where durability, long-term stability, and field configurability reduce maintenance burden.
