Dr. Stephanie A. Smith
Product Segment Manager for YSI's Integrated Systems & Services

Dr. Smith has worked in technology development for over 20 years, currently in her post as the segment manager for Integrated Systems and Services (ISS) at YSI, a Xylem brand. Most well known for her expertise in harmful algal blooms (HABs), her interest in eutrophication and nutrient loading that drive HABs led her to study approaches to stormwater management. Dr. Smith earned degrees in Biology from Missouri State University (B.S., M.S.) and in Microbiology from The Ohio State University (Ph.D.).
