SeaKeeper 1000
The SeaKeeper 1000 (TM) is a self-contained underwater sampling system mounted on ships of opportunity–ferries, cruise liners, freighters and research vessels. Using a through-hull pump and deck-mounted meteorological sensors, the SeaKeeper 1000 will autonomously collect water quality and atmospheric data along ocean traffic channels and transmit them to national weather services.
