Brief descriptions of a sampling of customer solutions providied by AMJ Environmental:

TAMPA BAY WATER AUTHORITY: DRINKING WATER RESERVOIR MONITORING AND TREATMENT CONTROL. Designed, constructed, and installed a SCADA control system with multiple inputs -- including multiparameter water quality sondes and tank level gauging systems -- to automate control of reservoir. System included dataloggers, PLCs, radio modems, and user interface software.

SOUTHWEST FLORIDA WATER MANAGEMENT DISTRICT: NPDES STORMWATER MONITORING. Designed, constructed, and installed 3 portable NPDES Stormwater Monitoring Trailers. Systems consisted of acoustic Doppler flowmeters, water quality sondes, automatic water samplers, and shaft encoders. Monitors take level before and after stormwater treatment area and issues alarms.

USGS – WATERSHED MONITORING. Constructed and installed 15 monitoring sites to measure water quality and flow discharge to determine baseline phosphorous levels of Lake Okeechobee watershed. Installations included 9 walkways and 6 bridge mounts.

JOHNSON ENGINEERING: CULVERT FLOW MONITORING FOR EVENT-BASED SAMPLING. Assisted in design and development -- and provided installation and integration -- of automated system.  System monitors flow and rainfall through a culvert. Programmed to initiate automated sampling when threshold criteria met, via RF transmission to multiple perimeter sampling sites.

EARTH TECH: TURBIDITY MONITORING STATIONS FOR NORTH CAROLINA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION. Designed, constructed, and installed 8 solar-powered remote water quality monitoring sites with cellular telemetry reporting to public URL every 15 minutes. Programmed with alarming dial out for breach of turbidity thresholds during interstate road construction.
